Short and ultrashort pulse lasers

TruMicro Series 9000

1 kW ultrashort pulse power for industrial microprocessing.

1 kW ultrashort pulse power for large-scale, industrial microprocessing.

The TruMicro 9010 is the most powerful industrial ultrashort pulse laser. It delivers 10 GW peak power and achieves an average output power of 1kW at a repetition rate of 100 kHz. Whilst comparable peak power is usually limited to scientific applications with low repetition rates, TRUMPF brings this technology to industrial manufacturing. The combination of a slab laser module and multi-pass cell ensures high flexibility at repetition rates from 100 kHz (10 mJ) up to 50 MHz (20 µJ), including burst mode. A software-based GHz burst function expands the range of applications. The beam parameters remain stable and reproducible across the entire range. The enormous energy can be distributed over larger areas, enabling higher productivity with consistent quality.

Powerful across all parameters.

Unprecedented 1 kW output power with 10 mJ pulse energy and a pulse duration of less than 1 ps.

Energy – straight to the point

With the fastest laser control and Advanced Pulse on demand, the TruMicro Series 9000 offers complete control over every pulse.

Made for the demands of industry

Based on proven components, the system delivers robust and stable beam parameters for consistently high precision and maximum reliability in industrial applications.

Think bigger, stay precise

The high pulse energy enables faster processing without any loss of quality.

Demonstrator plate for fuel cells.

Scaling the productivity of ultrashort pulse processes such as structuring, drilling, ablation and cleaning.

TruControl

TruControl is the quick and easy-to-use control for TRUMPF solid-state lasers. It regulates the laser power in real time in order to deliver reproducible results. TruControl manages, controls, and visualizes the interface configuration. You benefit from a uniform control architecture across all laser technologies. The lasers have interfaces to control intelligent TRUMPF optics, such as monitored CFO focusing optics or PFO scanner optics. You can easily program the processing optics via the laser control system. The remote support service provided by TRUMPF means that you receive off-site support within seconds. This will allow you to avoid service calls or be as prepared as possible and increase the availability of the laser device.

Condition Monitoring

Have your laser monitored by our TRUMPF experts and algorithms. We contact you proactively at the first signs of anything unusual. This avoids unplanned downtimes in your production.

Advanced Pulse on Demand

The precise time definition of the individual laser pulses is relevant for an optimum process result. The exact time and pulse energy per individual pulse can be set due to the linear slab amplification. Particularly in combination with a scanner, this function can provide equidistant pulses on the workpiece even in the case of acceleration or deceleration.

Digital connection and integration for smart solutions

Seamless integration of multiple TRUMPF machines into your own software environment is very easy. We have the right solution for every combination, whether it be integration into Oseon or a connection to monitoring and analysis tools. A connection to third-party software systems is also possible with our interfaces based on the OPC UA standard.

Scanner

Scanner

With the right scanner for the TruMicro, you get a powerful complete solution. Thanks to the synchronized laser and scanner control, combined with a modular robust design, it meets the highest industrial requirements. As well as the scanner, all the necessary cables, connections and interfaces are included. Peripheral devices such as cameras, pilot lasers or additional screens are also available to optimally adapt the solution to your requirements.
