Compact powerhouse
Our TruFiber P compact fiber lasers are the proven solution for precise and trouble-free cutting of a wide range of materials and for additive manufacturing. They can be easily integrated into any rack cabinet in your production line and are suitable as single or multimode for both the fine-part processing of thin materials and the clean cutting of thicker metals.
What makes the TruFiber P compact so special
Thanks to their compact 19-inch format, TruFiber P compact lasers can be easily integrated into any rack cabinet. Your existing production line does not need to be modified.
As air-cooled versions with up to 500 W, our TruFiber P compact lasers are predestined for processing moisture-sensitive components in dry rooms, for example in battery production or electronic components from the entertainment industry.
TruFiber P compact lasers process reflective metals such as brass or copper without interference or interruption because a patented technology diverts back-reflections. This protects the laser from damage and prevents downtime in your production line.
Further advantages
-
Safe and reliable with PLe
The TruFiber P compact fiber lasers meet the highest safety level Performance Level e (PLe). Redundant safety systems and fast error detection increase your safety in production - without additional measures on the laser.
The TruFiber P compact in use
You want to cut materials of different thicknesses cleanly, process moisture-sensitive electronic components safely or manufacture individual products using metal 3D printing. TruFiber P compact single or multimode fiber lasers provide the right beam quality for precise processing of any material and are also suitable for dry rooms as air-cooled versions with up to 500 W.
Clean cutting of stents
Clean cutting of stents
You must ensure that when cutting medical stents, there are no rough edges or deposits that could cause them to come loose in the body after implantation.
Thanks to their excellent singlemode beam quality, TruFiber P compact fiber lasers enable you to precisely place even the smallest cutting points and produce smooth, clean cut surfaces of the highest quality.
Laser cutting of thin and thick sheets
Laser cutting of thin and thick sheets
When processing thinner materials, lasers must be able to remove sufficient material despite narrow kerfs; with thicker materials, they must produce clean cuts despite high power.
In singlemode, TruFiber P compact fiber lasers with a focal diameter of 30 µm achieve the ideal beam power for cutting materials with a thickness of 1 mm or less - for example thin brass sheets. In multimode, they cut sharp, high-quality edges with a spot diameter of 50 µm, even on metals up to 6 mm thick.
Applying layers in 3D printing
Applying layers in 3D printing
For metallic 3D printing in dental practices and dental laboratories, lasers must be able to be optimally adjusted so that they can build dental products such as dental crowns or implants according to constantly changing specifications.
Thanks to their high beam power, precision and power stability, TruFiber P compact fiber lasers enable you to melt metal powder in such a way that you can implement any specific specification safely and yet quickly.
One system. Everything TRUMPF.
A laser alone is not a solution. Only in combination with precise optics, intelligent sensor technology and tailor-made services can a system be created that makes your applications possible and ensures reliable processes. With TRUMPF, you have a partner who not only supplies technology, but also reliable process results - solutions that measurably advance your production and pay off through sustainable success.
Optics
Guide and focus the laser beamOverview
Optics focus the laser beam precisely onto the workpiece - exactly at the point where the processing takes place. TRUMPF offers two variants for this:
Classic processing optics (BEO) focus a laser beam on a fixed processing point. To cover the processing surface, either the optics or the workpiece must be moved.
Programmable focusing optics (PFO) use mirrors to flexibly direct the laser beam to any position in the processing field - without any mechanical movement of the workpiece or optics. All optics can be combined via an interface with various sensors for process monitoring - from TRUMPF or third-party suppliers.
BEO D35
Compact, lightweight precision optics for fine machining.
- Ideal for welding and laser precision cutting thanks to precise machining.
- Easy integration into existing systems thanks to compact design and low weight.
- Can be combined with our smart sensor systems
also available as bifocal
BEO D50
Powerful mid-range for stable processes.
- High process stability: An optional shielding gas nozzle ensures clean weld seams.
- Robust design: The smart monitoring functions increase safety and process stability.
- High tightness: The optionally available Multifocus element enables particularly stable and gas-tight weld seams.
- Can be combined with our smart sensor systems: Also enables monitoring of the welding process with VisionLine OCT.
