The TruHeat VCSEL systems as an infrared laser source are suitable for applications within e-mobility, particularly in battery production. The VCSEL heating systems support processes such as drying battery foils, sealing pouch cells or perforating foils. These laser sources deliver directed large-area beams in a compact and robust system that is easy to scale.

The highly precise and homogeneous laser beam of the VCSEL-based laser source enables highly efficient processes. Due to direct irradiation of the target area, significant cost benefits can be achieved compared to conventional lasers, without expensive optics or scanner systems. Indirect cost savings are achieved through the small space requirement and fast processing.
